Retracing Time to Meet the Old Acquaintance
Fu Ye initiated the Retro-Time Machine project solely to see his deceased "white moonlight" again. He misunderstood Su Jinyue as someone who would do anything to marry him, resenting her for taking the position of his beloved as his legal wife. To take revenge, he treated her as a substitute for his "white moonlight." However, Su Jinyue agreed to marry Fu Ye only because of the Fu family's Retro-Time Machine and Fu Ye's eyes, which resemble those of her boyfriend, Jiang Yebai. She wanted to go back to the past to see her boyfriend, who died in a car accident.
