Synopsis
Demobilized soldier Bai Xiaochuan returns home and sells villagers’ kiwifruit at his own expense, earning little while covering every cost. Village official Li Mei accuses him of profiteering and exploitation. The villagers turn against him, even his family, leaving him wronged and unable to explain.
