Lens With Warmth
Maya, a documentary editor, finds her missing physics teacher father's old video tapes. For six months, he secretly filmed his reclusive neighbor Mary's house, capturing faint signs that Mary's daughter Erin was trapped indoors under her mother's paranoid delusions. Though police ignored his vague reports, he preserved full footage as solid evidence. Following his hidden clues, Maya rescues Erin and exposes Mary's illegal confinement. She compiles her father's recordings into a documentary to raise public awareness of overlooked domestic captivity and mental health crises. Though her father remains missing, his persistent observation and quiet courage leave an enduring message for everyone to pay attention to neglected neighbors.
