I Develop An App That Can Only Freeze Myself
Alice, a Silicon Valley coder, creates a unique app that only freezes her own time while the outside world keeps moving. Every time she activates it, she enters a parallel dimension in her dreams and meets Chen, a programmer tied to her late father's secret quantum theory. Their consciousnesses are entangled across two separate timelines. Gradually, Alice learns the app was built to connect parallel worlds, not just grant her rest. She shuttles between realities, reunites with her father trapped in the other dimension, and forms a tender bond with Chen. After mastering cross-dimensional travel via a pocket watch anchor, they finally break the time barrier and live together in the real world, no longer separated by paused time.
